You are not going to want to miss this event! All students must be accompanied by an adult 18 years or older.
What is Science and Environment Night?This event provides WLES students and families with a stimulating and entertaining evening of science experiments and environmental education activities that enhance MCPS curriculum and promote that learning is fun. Experiments and activities are conducted by scientists, natural resource professionals, environmental educators, WLES teachers and PTA volunteers.
Presenters: This year’s activity stations include, 3D printer, geology, chemistry experiments, forces of flight, recycling, wetlands and watersheds, dancing raisins, how electricity works, Bernoulli’s principle, chromatography, gardening and more!
Please Note: This is not to be confused with the Science Fair! Science Fair sign-up will begin at Science and Environment Night.
