This is a reminder to stay current with education issues in the county. Without knowing what plans are being discussed for Montgomery County Public Schools and our Seneca Valley Cluster, our voices will not be heard.
Please actively follow what is going on and give your feedback to our PTA. Board meetings are not always the most exciting things to follow, but it is crucial.

Board Using New Software to Manage Meetings
The Board of Education will soon be using a new software product—BoardDocs—to digitally manage Board meetings, materials, and agendas. Beginning with the September 10, 2013, Board meeting, the public will be able to access all available Board of Education business meeting materials from a Montgomery County Board of Education BoardDocs site.
The Montgomery County Board of Education is pleased to announce that it is implementing a new software product called BoardDocs that will help the Board to fully manage its meetings digitally. BoardDocs will be used to manage our Board meetings, materials, and agendas. BoardDocs is a paperless service that allows institutions to significantly improve the way they create and manage meeting materials, access information and conduct meetings. The transition from the present Board web site to BoardDocs will be seamless. Beginning with the September 10, 2013, Board meeting, the public will be redirected to a Montgomery County Board of Education BoardDocs site. The public will continue to be able to access all available Board of Education business meeting materials. Additionally, once the BoardDocs meeting management module is implemented, the public will be able to review the agenda items and see what action was taken by the Board, complete with voting results. All documents associated with the meeting will be automatically archived and can be accessed using a comprehensive search feature.
